Captain Emilie V. White is from Saint Petersburg, Florida. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in mathematics.

Upon receiving her commission as a Signal Corps Officer from the University of Notre Dame Army ROTC program she attended the Signal Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC) in Augusta, Georgia. After graduation she completed her Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Battalion S6 time in the Regimental Engineer Squadron (RES), 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Grafenwoehr, Germany. From there she attended the Maneuver Captains Career Course (MCCC) at Fort Benning, Georgia and continued on to the 101st Airborne Division as the Battalion S6 for 1-75 Cavalry Squadron, 2nd Brigade, 101st ABN. CPT White then returned to Fort Benning, GA and served as a Capabilities Developer and Strategic Planner in the Maneuver CDID under Army Futures Command before finding herself back at the University of Notre Dame.

Her military education includes the Signal Basic Officer Leadership Course, the Maneuver Captains Career Course, Combatives Level 1, Capability Developer Course, and Air Assault School.

She has been married to her husband, Kelvin, for 6 years and they have two children – Tatum (3) and Kelvin II “Deuce” (2).
