Irish Iron is the Fightin’ Irish Battalion’s powerlifting club that allows cadets to improve their strength base and confidence. Led by a seasoned group of lifters in the Battalion, the club offers weekly lifts wherein upperclassmen captains guide cadets through strength-specific training aimed at increasing a cadet’s ACFT score and general lifting aptitude. With over 80 percent of the Battalion involved, Irish Iron lifts are not only a great place to increase your fitness level, but also to get to know your battle buddies. Our club members enjoy not only building their physical strength, but also improving their confidence, crushing the ACFT, and setting personal records.
