Upon commissioning CPT Wilson served as the 52d Engineer Battalion Intelligence Officer for nine months before taking a Horizontal Platoon Leader position in the 497th Engineer Company (HORZ) for 16 months. CPT Wilson then moved from Fort Carson, Colorado to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to attend the Engineer Captain’s Career Course. While in Missouri, he earned a Masters in Geological Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology.Captain Timothy K. Wilson, a native of Denver, Colorado, enlisted in the Army in 2004 and spent over 5 years at Fort Campbell, Kentucky with 101st Airborne Division (AASLT). He graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and commissioned as an Engineer Officer in 2009.

CPT Wilson transferred to Fort Polk, Louisiana and the 46th Engineer Battalion in 2013. There he was assigned as the Engineer Operations Officer and a Company Commander. CPT Wilson commanded the Headquarters and Headquarters Company for 15 months.

CPT Wilson’s awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2OLC), Army Achievement Medal (2OLC),Joint Meritorious Unit Award and the Meritorious Unit Commendation. His awards also include the Air Assault Badge and the Sapper Tab.
