MAJ Travis B. Taylor is a native of Richmond, Virginia.  He is a graduate from University of Phoenix, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.  MAJ Taylor was commissioned into the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Chemical Corp (CM) and later transferred to the Logistics Branch (LG).  His civilian education also includes a Masters of Business Administration from University of Phoenix.

MAJ Taylor’s military education includes the CM Officer Basic Course, Unit Movement Officer Course, Observer Controller Course, Combative Level 1 Training Course, Logistics Combined Captain's Career Course, and LG Pre-Command Course.

MAJ Taylor's previous assignments and duty positions include: 377th CM Company, Executive Officer (US Defense Supply Center, VA); 16th Ordnance Battalion, S-1 (Fort Lee, VA); Charlie Company 16th Ordnance Battalion, Company Commander (Fort Lee, VA); 310th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, G-3 Operations Officer (Fort Hood, TX); 275th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Forward Logistics Element Officer (Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center, Iraq); 275th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, S-4 (Fort Lee, VA); 275th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Executive Officer (Fort Lee, VA); 10th Mountain Division, G-4 Maintenance Officer (Fort Drum, NY); 10th Division Sustainment Brigade, S-4 (Fort Drum, NY).
